Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cup moong beans


  • 2 cup sour buttermilk


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 teaspoon red chilly powder


  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste


  • 2 tablespoon oil


  • 1 teaspoon mustard


  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds


  • 1 teaspoon kari leaves


  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander


  • 1 teaspoon cumin _coriander powder

Directions

  • In a pressure cooker add moong beans, wash it and add 1 glass of water cover the lid and make 3 whistle
  • Let it cool and add buttermilk and put on low Flame.
  • In a pan add oil, heat it then add mustard, cumin
  • Then add Kari leaves and garlic paste
  • Then add asafetida, turmeric powder, cumin _coriander powder, red chilli powder
  • And pore this in boiling moong beans
  • Then boil it for 10 min. On low flame
  • Then add chopped coriander and serve it in serving plate and garnish with coriander steam.
